  • Previously, we briefly introduced flow sensors based on differential pressure. This time, we will start with flow meters based on ultrasound. Ultrasonic flowmeter is an instrument used to measure the flow rate of liquids or gases, and its working principle is based on the characteristics of ultrasound propagation in the medium. This type of flowmeter can measure without the need for contact or interference with the fluid itself, and is therefore widely used in various industrial environments, especially in situations where non-contact or non-destructive measurement is required.

  • The application fields of ultrasonic flow meters are very extensive, from water treatment and sewage treatment facilities, to the chemical and petroleum industries, and then to food and beverage production lines. These devices also play a crucial role in the aviation, power, and thermal industries, helping professionals in these industries monitor system efficiency, evaluate equipment performance, and ensure continuity of process flow.

  • In addition, ultrasonic flow meters also have important applications in the medical field. For example, medical staff can use ultrasonic flow meters to monitor the delivery speed of blood or drugs, which plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Nowadays, with the continuous development of technology, the accuracy and reliability of ultrasonic flow meters have been greatly improved, allowing us to have more precise control and understanding of fluid flow in different scenarios and environments.
